Where your money goes when you donate to PAW
2009/10 accounts
Our accounts for 2009/10 were approved by Trustees on 11th January 2011 at our AGM and are lodged with the Charities Commission and Companies House.
In 2010, we were able to send £87,603 to Malawi for direct conservation work. This amounts to 93p in every £1 donated, that is a big increase from 83p in 2009. We concentrated on work inside the reserve - conservation, infrastructure and eco tourism but we also achieved our objective of setting up the community development programme and each month an amount is set aside for the orphan feeding programme, wound and health care and business development. And we now employ 57 people, therby giving a livelihood to almost 600 local Malawians.
