Our final Walk for Water in 2008 was around Lyme Park in the Peak District, Derbyshire
We completed the 2008 programme of walks for water with a walk from Whaley Bridge to Lyme Park and on to Middlewood, a gentle 7 miles complete with ice cream stop!
The return by train to Whaley Bridge was a first for Echo, the only dog with us on the walk this time, and she relished the experience of a surprisingly full train.
The final total for 2008 and photos will be online shortly.
Our first walk in 2009 is being recced, and is likely to be at the end of January.
We are also planning our first major sponsored walk for September 2009. If you would like to join us in 2009, and if you can help with the major walk in September as a marshall, supporter or walker contact us as soon as possible.
